Last Month’s Monthly Favorites!

I apologize for my lengthy absence! College is a lot more difficult than it seemed on paper and assignment after assignment has been getting away from me πŸ˜…

I’ve decided for now I will attempt to do one post a month, and for this months post I figured I’d share a few things that brought me joy recently that I purchased from Small businesses!

(If you are interested in more small businesses, I actually have a story highlight on my Instagram with a few on there at https://instagram.com/dani_pnk__?igshid=160r48h6rvd3v )

Most of these items are small and simple

Home decor; and to begin let’s talk: Twig kids

1.Twig Kid

Here is my Twig Kid! I purchased him for $20 from a local shop downtown. He is so cute! I really love his limbs and shape and I think he is the perfect little addition to spice up a space. In addition to this he is made of 100% cotton and recycled materials and make a great durable gift for kids!

You can find out more on these cuties or purchase one here: http://www.twigkids.co

2.Hand painted resin figurine

My second cute favorite was this little decorative piece:

I love ‘Alice in Wonderland’ characters and really enjoyed the classic in Middle school so I thought a nostalgic figurine would make my room a little more joyful! I also bought him from a local shop and was actually unsure of his origins but upon research it turns out he is a handmade statue by Lori Mitchell! I purchased him for $28, and had a very difficult time choosing, as she has released a super charming Halloween line as well! You can check out this figurine and more here: https://kinksandquirks.com/the-caterpillar-alice-in-wonderland-lori-mitchell-collectible-figurine/?cmp_id=10718618788&adg_id=114261886948&kwd=&device=m&gclid=Cj0KCQiAqdP9BRDVARIsAGSZ8AlnAWmre097zhg63a12pR51n7gUX4xFiwpsptPa2kUdsDKiPUnKipgaAgjPEALw_wcB

3.Vintage Doll

My third favorite is an adorable 33” vintage Holly Hobbie rag doll I got for $5 at a local thrift store-discounted due to damage. She is probably one of my proudest thrift finds, and I find her so adorable. πŸ˜Š unfortunately, I don’t have a link for you to buy this one since I am pretty sure this line has been retired for quite a while, but I’m sure you maybe able to find her on eBay, poshmark, or various other resell sites!

4.The cutest little Button

My fourth favorite has to be this cute little button I purchased from Tender Ghost

It is super cute! I have bought from Tender Ghost on multiple occasions and I am even planning to buy from them for gifts this year for Christmas! They have incredibly cute and well made products that are funny and have good affirming messages. I would absolutely recommend them as the cutest little additions to your wardrobe. They sell buttons, keychains, enamel pins, hats, and even t shirts! While I have yet to experience their apparel, I can vouch for the quality of their buttons; which are very affordable, by the way, and their enamel pins. I gifted one to a friend for her birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. ♥️ You can view their products here: https://tender-ghost.com

5.CBD chocolate ❤️

A bit different from my other favorites! I got this at a small shop while on vacation and I really enjoyed it ♥️

It was a bit pricey, I will admit, but It was very tasty and I really enjoyed that I could manage my intake. I felt very relaxed after one square. I have experimented with CBD as of late due to my endometriosis pain and I am really looking to try suppositories in the future, but for now I am sticking to consumables. Here is their site: https://experiencecbd.com

⭐️ I do have to issue a warning though! As there is not a lot of FDA approved CBD products that are small and local on the market. It’s impossible for everything out there to be super concentrated and would very much urge you to refrain from operating machinery or driving, ect while taking CBD as I have actually taken CBD edibles before that caused me to straight up TRIP BALLS. Just be very careful about what you consume. Got mama Dani watching out for you all πŸ’•

P.s. if you wanted to know which edibles made me trip, they look like this:

And they actually had a warning on the back that I completely disregarded πŸ€¦πŸ½‍♀️

Be careful out there yall!

Thank you all so much for reading my post and I will be so happy to see you next month! Please have a wonderful November and if you can, shop small and local for your Christmas presents this year. Jeff Bezos has more than enough money. πŸ’•
